Did you always know that you wanted to become a teacher?
Yes from 12 to 13.
What’s the most rewarding thing about being a teacher?
Seeing how the children progress.
What’s the most challenging thing about being a teacher?
It’s quite a long day.
Could you guess how many students you have taught?
Around 56 students.
What’s your favourite subject to teach?
Science because its practical and children tend to enjoy it.
What makes a good teacher?
Patience and enthusiasm.
Who was your favourite teacher when you were at school and why?
Mr Roundtree, he was very energetic and funny.
For any young people reading this, why should they consider a career in teaching?
Every day is different.
When you’re not teaching, what do you do to relax?
American Football, Runs (goes to the gym)

Why is Wallsend ‘special’ to you?
Hadrian Park Primary School is where I first became a teacher and taught my first classes.

It’s a very supportive school with wonderful staff and children.
