What is the most popular thing that you prepare?
Pizza, roast dinners and yorkshire puddings, cookies, cakes and Christmas lunch

Thumbs up!!
Broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, peas

How many fish fingers do you cook in a school year?
We don’t offer fish fingers, we have salmon – sweet chili, Harry Ramsden’s cod portion

Who was your favourite teacher when you were at school and why?
Mrs Ferguson – Home Economics. I loved cooking

What was your favourite school meal?
Mince and dumplings
Jam sponge with custard

Did you enjoy school?
Yes

What is your favourite take away meal?
Chinese and Subway salad

When you’re not preparing school meals, what do you do to relax?
I love being with my poodle Charlie. Long walks and playing on the field with the ball with him

Why is Wallsend ‘special’ to you?
I work in a brilliant school, Churchill Community College, this is very special to me. I have been in Churchill 7 years

Any thing else that you would like our visitors to know?
I have worked on school meals for 31 years. Working with students and staff means so much to me, you get to meet some interesting and amazing people
